"Alchemy and Evolution" is a mixed media work on canvas that explores the dialogue between materials and symbols, creating a visual and tactile journey. The artist uses acrylic, chalk, paper, fabric, natural stones and metal, transforming the surface of the canvas into a layered and meaningful composition.
The fabric pockets inserted into the work contain unique playing cards, designed by the artist himself: in one pocket an ace of spades, and in the other a queen and a three of spades. These elements add a level of mystery and interpretation, evoking themes of power, risk and transformation.
The use of natural and artificial materials recalls the concept of alchemy, while the arrangement of the objects suggests a visual and spiritual evolution. "Alchemy and Evolution" is a work that invites the viewer to reflect on change, destiny and the hidden forces that shape our existence.
