Rooting

Technique

Mixed technique on canvas using acrylic, paper, natural stones and aluminum

Artist

Elisa Aiassa is an Italian painter who transforms matter with an alchemical touch, creating works of art that reveal the beauty of metamorphosis. The number 3 is the leitmotif of her material and pictorial creations.

Dimensions

30x40 cm

The work "Radicamento" by Elisa Aiassa is a symbolic journey into the duality between randomness and determination, through a material composition full of meanings. The mixed media on 30x40 canvas, with the skilful use of acrylic, paper, natural stones and aluminium, gives the work a rich and three-dimensional structure. The three diamond playing cards – the ace, the queen and the king – are not just decorative elements, but narrative vehicles that suggest an intertwining of destiny and conscious choices.

The title "Rooting" evokes the search for stability and connection with one's roots, in a constant dialogue between the concrete and the abstract. Natural stones recall the solidity of the earth, while aluminum introduces a reflection on modernity and transformation. The use of red in the paintings represents passion and vitality, offering an emotional and profound interpretation.

Aiassa creates a work that invites the observer to explore the complexity of human choices and invisible connections, suspended between randomness and intention, in a dynamic balance that resonates with the very essence of life.
